The Task

To design an ultrasonic plastic welding machine which can weld parts of adjustable ball pull up seal. These ball pull up seals are very delicate and cannot be welded easily in order to achieve strong joints.

The Solution

In this case, the challenge was successfully completed by designing an
ultrasonic plastic welding machine consisting of USP 3000 press, IWC-5
(micro-processor based control panel), and a specially designed horn & fixture arrangement welding ten pull up seals at a time.
